Coronation Street star Joe Layton is leaving his role on the ITV soap - just months after making history.

Joe plays Mick Michaelis on the ITV soap, having joined just last month alongside partner Lou but he will soon be making his exit. Reports suggested a shock exit could be on the cards, but now The Mirror can reveal when Mick will depart, the star's stint on the show always planned to be temporary.
