Coronation Street star Victoria Ekanoye has courageously spoken out about her battle with cancer, recounting the moment she discovered a pea-sized lump in her breast in 2021, following the birth of her son.

The 42 year old actress was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma and chose to undergo a double mastectomy. During her appearance on BBC Morning Live earlier today, Victoria stressed the importance of people being vigilant about their health.
