Like everyone else, Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) in Coronation Street has found dealing with Oliver’s illness difficult to cope with. He felt isolated and pushed out when Leanne (Jane Danson) was prioritising Oliver over him, but there could be brighter times on the horizon soon as Simon will find himself a new love interest – but will the potential relationship be doomed to fail?
