LONDON (REUTERS) - The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the United Kingdom rose by 30% to 273, the government said on Sunday (March 8), and a third person who tested positive for the virus has died.

The Department of Health and Social Care said the number of cases had risen by 64 from Saturday, the biggest one-day increase so far. The largest concentration of cases is in London, which has had 51.
