US President Donald Trump announced that he wants the country “opened up and just raring to go by Easter”, in a shock statement on Tuesday. The controversial order was made in spite of the soaring coronavirus infection rates that today had reached 85,000 and led to 1,304 US lives being lost to the deadly outbreak. The former-business tycoon has been widely criticised for such his “dangerous” statement by world leaders and the public alike  – who fear it will lead to a greater death toll. His handling of the COVID-19 crisis has been condemned by many, including by one leading psychiatrist who told Express.co.uk that the US – and the world – will continue to be at risk while he remains at the helm of one of the world’s leading superpowers.
