NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Rattling the batters with his express speed and walking away with the player of the match award after scripting Lucknow Super Giants' first win of the season, Mayank Yadav could not have dreamt of a better debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The 21-year-old right-arm quick did not play a single match in the 2022 edition of the tournament and missed last year's IPL with a torn hamstring but gave a good account of himself on Saturday.
