Cursor, an AI coding startup previously known as Anysphere, is nearing a funding round of at least US$2 billion at a US$50 billion valuation before the new capital injection, people familiar with the matter said.

Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz are expected to lead the round, with Battery Ventures potentially joining and Nvidia also expected to join, though the deal is oversubscribed and terms may still change.
