KUCHING: The Democratic Action Party (DAP) plans to raise funds to cover the legal costs of a court battle involving its state chairman Chong Chieng Jen, who is being sued by the Sarawak government for defamation over his ‘black hole’ remarks.

“The DAP Sarawak is in for a long legal battle on the defamation case filed by the Sarawak state government against me on my comment of ‘black hole’ over the Sarawak state government’s funds.
