9 Jul - Dayang Nurfaizah has recently dismissed the rumours that she is tying the knot soon.

The 44-year-old singer, who previously admitted to be seeing someone, said that there is no "special date" for a "special occasion" as previously rumoured.

"The only special days for me would be my exclusive performance for my new album, 'Janji' because I have been waiting for this for a while now," she said, referring to her "Janji with Dayang" showcase in Penang and KL Tower, to be held on 23 August and 27 September, respectively.

"It's been a while since I released a pop album. The last one was 2017. So, this performance is special to me," she said.

Asked if Hael Husaini, whom many believed to be her supposed special someone, will be attending the show as well, Dayang only responded, "The most important people who will be there will be my fans, because they are the ones who inspire me."

Dayang said that there will be no surprises or gimmick, and that the only guest performers at the show would be Anwar Amzah and Naki.

It was last month that Dayang and Hael were rumoured to have held an engagement. Hael, however, has denied the rumours.
