A deeply emotional scene from the Harry Potter franchise between Dudley Dursley and Harry is leaving fans teary-eyed once again.

Dudley, played by Harry Melling, is the spoiled cousin of Harry and so is not very well-liked throughout the films.

However, true fans of the fantasy franchise know that their relationship ran deeper than that, which could have been understood if this scene had been included.

The penultimate film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1, features a scene where the titular character returns to Privet Drive as he says goodbye to the Dursleys for good.

Here, Vernon, Petunia, and Dudley are leaving their home on Privet Drive under the threat of Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters.

Unfortunately, this scene is not included in the final film, though it does offer more casual fans an insight into Harry and Dudley's relationship.

The deleted scene sees Vernon rushing the family into the car, ignoring his nephew.

As Harry goes downstairs, he sees his Aunt Petunia in the living room in deep thought.
