Deputy minister denies non-Muslim appointment at TH-owned hotel

THE Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) has denied the allegation of a non-Muslim individual’s appointment as GM of a hotel owned by Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH).
Deputy Minister Ahmad Marzuk Shaary said the viral memo — which was signed by TH CEO Datuk Nik Mohd Hasyudeen Yusoff — was only a proposal for appointment from TH top management which was brought to the board meeting for approval.
