It's perfectly normal to get a little starstruck when you meet someone you admire.

We just didn't expect to see this side of Charmaine Sheh.

The 51-year-old actress recently attended an event celebrating the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong eyewear brand Puyi Optical.

Also in attendance was Richard Stark, 66, co-founder of American luxury brand Chrome Hearts.

Clearly excited to meet the renowned designer, Charmaine seized the chance to take a photo with him.

She later shared her excitement on Instagram, revealing that Richard had personally signed a T-shirt for her.

However, the video she posted soon became the subject of online discussion.

In the clip, Richard is seated while concentrating on signing the T-shirt.

Standing behind him, Charmaine enthusiastically reached around from both sides to help hold the shirt steady.

Once he finished, she clapped excitedly before gratefully accepting the autographed T-shirt.

While many found the interaction sweet, others felt it looked a little too close for comfort.

Some netizens claimed Charmaine appeared to have "pressed her chest against his back", while others questioned whether she needed to stand so close.

"Even if he's your idol, the scene looked a little awkward," one commenter wrote.

Another asked: "Couldn't she have just held the shirt from the side instead of standing behind him?"

That said, the video does not clearly show whether there was any actual physical contact.

Much of the online discussion appears to have been based on viewers' interpretation of Charmaine's posture and the camera angle.
