Famous photographer Chen Man and international luxury brand Dior apologised on Tuesday (Nov 23) for a photograph displayed at a Shanghai exhibition that was heavily criticised. Chen said she was "immature and ignorant."
The photo, which went viral in China, features a young freckled woman with heavy makeup around her eyes looking at the camera with a piercing gaze and slight smile.

The photographer should photo herself. She’s better looking than all the models she used.

if she looks anything at all like her artistic portrayal of her own race, then it's forgivable. But she photographed herself as being sweet n beautiful!!! What to do, as she's playing her trade in westernized culture. Remember the old movies featuring Chinese, eg. King Manchu w/ beady eyes; & now she, herself a CHINESE, is doing that!!! This is what Chinese call 忘本 ( when successful, forgotten one's humble ROOTS)!!!
