Last year, the Singapore Tourism Board and Disney Cruise Line announced that the Disney Adventure cruise ship will establish a homeport in Singapore, making it the first in Southeast Asia since its first voyage in 1998. The ship will set sail from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre in 2025, and is expected to host about 6,700 passengers and 2,500 crew members.

There will be seven themed areas on the ship, with the standout being the Disney Imagination Garden, an outdoor space inspired by the illustrious history of Disney adventures, featuring a gorgeous garden and an open-air performance space. Other themed areas include a water playland inspired by the iconic Toy Story series and a shopping area modelled after Big Hero 6’s San Fransokyo.
