On April 16, ruling party PAP announced their five-member constituency line-up contesting for Tampines GRC. 

Two new candidates have joined incumbent members Social and Family Development Minister Masagos Zulkifli, Senior Minister of State for Manpower and Sustainability and the Environment Dr Koh Poh Koon, and Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Transport and Sustainability and the Environment Baey Yam Keng. Running alongside them are ex-chief of army David Neo and Dr Charlene Chen, an assistant professor of marketing and sustainability at NTU.
