LOS ANGELES, March 8 — Seven-time Olympic gold medallist Caeleb Dressel launched his 2024 campaign aimed at the Paris Olympics with a 100m butterfly victory at the Pro Swim Series in Westmont, Illinois, on Thursday.

Dressel, the world record-holder in the event, is racing this week for the first time this year after withdrawing from the Pro Swim stop in Knoxville in January to prepare for the birth of his son last month.
