Dutch MH17 trial resumes after delay due to COVID-19 lockdown

AMSTERDAM: Defence lawyers in the trial of the 2014 downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 over eastern Ukraine on Monday (Jun 8) will request more time to prepare as public hearings resumed following delays caused by the coronavirus lockdown.
Five judges sat between glass dividers, and lawyers and family members were spread out as part of social distancing measures. A maximum of 30 people would be allowed into the courtroom.
