Haunting new footage shows part of the OceanGate Titan submersible being retrieved from the floor of the Atlantic ocean after its implosion which killed five people in June last year

More footage from the recovery of the doomed Titan submersible has emerged showing the moment debris was salvaged from the Atlantic floor.

Shrapnel from the OceanGate vessel, which imploded on its voyage to the Titanicwreck in June last year killing the five men inside, was discovered on the ocean bed in a recovery mission, with footage now being released to the public for the very first time. It comes as a hearing is held in Charleston, South Carolina, into the ill-fated voyage.
