Elderly man dies after being struck by lorry

JOHOR BARU: An elderly man died after he was hit by a lorry in Jalan Dedap 1, Taman Johor Jaya, here, this morning (April 27).
It is believed the 72-year-old was crossing the road when he was struck by an Isuzu lorry driven by a 35-year-old man in the 9.45am incident.
Seri Alam police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Sohaimi Ishak said the lorry was travelling to Taman Mount Austin when the victim walked onto the road from the right side.

It is certainly heartbreaking to have a 72-year-old man's life be brutally cut short in this horrific manner Hopefully, further investigation into the matter will afford the deceased families some closure for the unspeakable horrific tragedy

It is unfortunate for the 35 years old lorry driver to knot down the slow walking 72 years oldman when the oldman cross the road.
