MIRI (April 27): A 74-year-old man succumbed to his injuries, sustained from an accident that struck Desa Bahagia Vista Perdana residential area here last Saturday.

District police chief ACP Mohd Farhan Lee Abdullah, in a statement, said the man died while receiving treatment at Miri Hospital, at around 12.15pm yesterday.

“The accident, which occurred around 4pm (on Saturday), involved a motorcycle ridden by the victim who, at the time, was carrying out security patrols across the residential area.
