Electricity tariff for households to increase by 9.3% for October to December

SINGAPORE — Electricity tariff in Singapore households will increase by an average of 1.83 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh) for the period of October to December, said SP Group on Wednesday (30 September).
For households, the electricity tariff before 7 per cent goods and services tax (GST) will increase by 9.3 per cent from 19.60 to 21.43 cents per kWh for 1 October to 31 December. The average monthly electricity bill for families living in four-room HDB flats will increase by $7.01 (before 7% GST).
