KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 29): The Government is building Malaysia’s first green energy islands at Pulau Redang and Pulau Perhentian, which will supply consumers there with 24-hour electricity by 2025, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The pioneering project will be supplied with a consistent, affordable and low-carbon supply of electricity, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by about 70%.
