28 Mar - Although she was once one of the most sought-after actresses of her generation, Elfira Loy recently revealed that in reality, acting was not something she wanted to do.

The actress, who sat down with Dayah Bakar on the latter's podcast, "Wardah Heart to Heart", shared that being an introvert, she was no fan of acting and was only doing the job for the sake of helping her family.

"I started acting just to help my mother. People thought I loved acting but I don't. I remember that the first time I was paid, I was doing theatre at the time. I thought to myself, 'I am being paid. I can help my mum with this'," she said.
