Emma Stone isn't clinging to the past, but she is reflecting fondly.

The Oscar winner recently shared that she has good memories of filming 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man and its 2014 sequel with Andrew Garfield who she met on set and dated from 2011 to 2015.

"I mean I really loved doing Spider-Man," Emma—who played Gwen Stacy alongside Andrew’s Peter Parker—reflected in an interview with Vogue published Aug. 14. "I loved everyone I worked with. I met Andrew there."

She added, "It was really a special time in my life."

However, her ex wasn't the only person she shouted out from her time on set. She shared that it was also "wonderful" to meet the likes of Sally Field and Mark Webb.

And it's an experience she only looks back on positively.

"The people, more than the film itself, is what sticks with me for so long," she noted. "So I have only the fondest memories of this whole experience."

Despite breaking up a decade ago, Emma and Andrew have continued to speak about each other in a positive light. In fact, their actions have spoken even louder than their words, with Andrew even giving Emma a standing ovation at the 2017 Golden Globes when she picked up the Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical statue for her role in La La Land two years after their split.

Plus, more recently, the pair shared a sweet moment together at the 2025 Golden Globes in January, laughing alongside Emma's husband since 2020, Dave McCary.

Meanwhile, Andrew, who is now linked to A Complete Unknown actress Monica Barbaro, has been open about how he's kept in touch with Emma. In 2022, Andrew shared that Emma had "kept on texting" him to  try and get him to reveal his secret appearance in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home—which he still kept a secret.

"She was like, 'Are you in this new Spider-Man film?'" Andrew said on the Happy Sad Confused podcast at the time. "And I was like, 'I don't know what you're talking about.'"
