Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) has been given some positive news in Emmerdale. He can go home!

Marlon has been in hospital ever since his stroke a few weeks ago.

The ordeal has been incredibly difficult, both for Marlon and his family.

For Rhona (Zoe Henry), she’s dedicated every single moment possible to looking after Marlon and the family, convinced she can’t stop for five minutes as there is so much to do.

For Mary (Louise Jameson), she recently clashed with her daughter after implying she should split up with Marlon before dedicating the next few years to looking after him.

In hospital, Marlon initially refused to see his friends and family from the village, struggling to accept the fact his life has changed so dramatically.  

This week, Rhona feared Marlon wouldn’t be able to be discharged as there was a bit of a delay with his recovery.
