Megan Stalter didn’t want to do too much on the red carpet.

While stars like Jenna Ortega and BLACKPINK’s Lisa turned heads on the 2025 Emmy Awards red carpet in their one-of-a-kind dresses, the Hacks actress opted for a plain white T-shirt and casual pair of blue jeans—all for a specific reason.

“I don't want to get recognized tonight, so I'm trying to do a more low key look,” Megan joked to USA Today at the Sept. 14 award ceremony, hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze. “It's really overwhelming because I'm a huge megastar now, so it's really hard when people come up to me.”

The Too Much star, who also sported a pair of sunglasses, a black purse and dark flats, added, “So, I thought maybe the glasses and a more casual look would be, like, yeah.”

As for if the look was tailor-made for her by a famous designer? 

“It's Hanes and Levi's,” Megan explained. “Those are designers.”

Though the comedian’s look at the Emmys—where her Hacks costars Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder took home the trophies for Lead Actress and Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, respectively—was still noteworthy, it was much more tame than outfits she’s worn on previous red carpets. In fact, just one week prior, Megan—known for her quirky comedy like her viral “Hi, gay” parody videos—dressed up as a coffee cup to attend the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, where she introduced singer Sombr’s musical performance.

In July, she won the red carpet of the Las Culturistas Culture Awards by sporting a Diet Coke look, which featured a strapless bodice piece constructed completely from Diet Coke boxes. Megan also donned a black pinstriped miniskirt and blonde curly wig while she cracked open a cold can of the soda.
