6 Jun - Ernie Zakri has recently dismissed speculations that she is pregnant with baby number two, after netizens noticed what looked like a "baby bump" during her recent performance.

The singer, who was asked to address the rumour recently, said that it was just a misunderstanding caused by the shape of her blue dress from Ashraff Zainal Atelier.

"But I would never say no to such a blessing. But as of now, it's just food," she said, jokingly.

Ernie said that she understood her fans' excitement, but that she would never keep such a thing a secret. She added that both she and husband, singer Syamel do plan to have another baby.

"I understand that fans love to celebrate all the good things in my life. I am thankful and have to look at it from a different perspective," she said.

At the same time, the singer stressed that she has no issue with the dress she wore that sparked the rumour, saying that it was a really fine dress for her.

Ernie and Syamel, who tied the knot in 2021, welcomed their daughter Khawla in February 2022.
