A lottery winner who bagged a whopping £148million is planning to create a theme park on his estate, according to documents.

Adrian Bayford and his ex-wife won the life-changing sum in the EuroMillionsjackpot in 2012. Now, the father-of-two is reportedly hoping to create an eco-attraction on his huge estate, Horseheath Lodge in Cambridgeshire.

Planning documents have revealed that he is hoping to use 20 acres of the land to bring the adventure park to life. According to the papers, the site will include educational facilities, a train ride and a renewable energy-themed play.

The Grade II listed property will also feature a maze, five outdoor play zones, sensory trails and pond-dipping. Eco-minded Adrian would even create 13 full-time jobs, with an education centre teaching youngsters about sustainability.

A friend told The Sun: “Adrian’s totally supportive, but this is really Tracey’s baby.” Construction is expected to take two to three years, if it gets the go-ahead. In February last year he reportedly opened up an Airbnb in the back garden.

A planning statement submitted to South Cambridgeshire District Council by Strutt & Parker said: "The Vision is for the development to become a highly regarded and well-known leisure destination which provides a fun, exciting and educational day out. Throughout the wider estate, the applicant is looking to provide outdoor experiences which build on social value, health and wellbeing across 5 different play zones which will be created using sustainably sourced materials."

It continued: "The planningstatement adds: 'It is intended that the site shall serve as a vital educational destination that fosters inclusivity and engagement for all learners, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), lower socioeconomic backgrounds, vulnerable groups, and home learners."

It further added: "In addition to this free play, the project will also offer planned educational activities in collaboration with schools, aligning with curriculum goals and providing structured opportunities for skill development."

The property lay vacant for a few years, but Adrian had to up security last year on the 148-acre estate when squatters used his swimming pool. Adrian is planning the mega site with his new wife. He has been notoriously unlucky in love since he pocketedthe money, having split up from his wife Gillian around 15 months after they won together.

She moved back to Scotland with her share of the winningswhere she launched a company and has since remarried. A second failed romance followed for Adrian, and a friend reportedly questioned if he understood just “how rich he really is” after the move.

The planning is yet to be approved at this stage.
