Eva Mendes has no time for those suggesting she’s had surgery, as she shot down such claims on her return to Instagram.

The actress, 46, has been noticeably absent from social media over the last month and fans picked up on her posting less, as she returned to share a birthday shoutout for one of her pals.

Eva paid tribute to her ‘angel’ of a friend on her special day, with some fans using her post as an opportunity to quiz the star on why she hasn’t been as active online.

She explained that she’s been taking the time to be ‘present with her family’ and that posting hasn’t been a ‘priority’, but that didn’t stop one follower from speculating that the real reason behind Eva’s Instagram absence is that she’s had work done.

They wrote: ‘she’s had work done and I don’t think she’s happy with it..🤷‍♀️ she was beautiful without.’

Such surgery rumours, however, aren’t true and Eva had the best response, while shutting down the claims.
