Colombian-born designer Laura Aparicio showed her eponymous label for the first time in Singapore on 10 March. Organised by ProColomia, a group of women were invited to view her Fall/Winter 2020 collection at the Como Club at Dempsey. The elegant collection is dedicated to the courageous women who love freely. More than just clothes, Laura also highlights the work of indigenous Colombian craftswomen, as well as a range of mochila bags updated with contemporary patterns. The Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia, His Excellency Manuel Hernando Solano Sossa was the special guest of honour that afternoon.
