Ex Mr World S’pore Jailed 7 Weeks for 2nd Drink Driving Conviction

Hu Hanxiong, who won the Mr Singapore World title in 2010, has once again been convicted for drink driving.
The 40-year-old pleaded guilty on Jan 12 to one charge of drink driving. He was sentenced to seven weeks’ jail, fined S$14,000, and banned from driving for nine years.

Every time we are told if you want to drink DON'T DRIVE! Regardless who is he, king or queen... should face reasonable penalty. To me, sentence seven weeks’ jail, fined S$14,000 and banned from driving for nine years is too lenient for his second drink-driving conviction. 😡
