Ex-TVB Actors Mocked For Cringey Dancing On Live Stream

Though we have seen Hong Kong actors take their acting careers to the next level, we think these popular faces weren’t expecting what would follow next.

In a recent Douyin live stream, former TVB actors Ron Ng, 45, Roger Kwok, 41, Bobby Au-yeung, 64, Matthew Ko, 41,  Vincent Wong, 41, and Jerry Lamb, 54,  formed a sort of boyband and were made to show off their dance moves.

Grooving (can we even call that?) to the already cringe ‘Goodnight Miss Love’ by South Korean duo ASMRZ.

While Ron, who looked like he had at least some rhythm, took the center position, the rest seemed more like his backup dancers and were terribly out of synch. Terribly.

Is this what they call sink or swim? If that’s the case, they desperately needed some saving.

The uncomfortable setup saw Roger having a blank expression, while Bobby struggled to catch up during the dance.

In another segment, Ron and Vincent were made to have a dance-off in a bid to get viewers to vote.

While Ron admittedly didn’t look too out of place, Vincent seemed to think that he would probably get more votes by simply posing stiffly.

Netizens tore the entire live stream apart calling it embarrassing for the actors.

One even wrote, “You can tell they hated being there. Ron’s eyes looked so dead, while Bobby looked like he couldn’t wait for the torture to end”.

Older netizens seem to be also turned off, with one commenting: “It is sad to see my childhood idols doing such a live stream”.

Another even asked, “Is this elder abuse?” The combined age of the actors is 306 years.

Wait, how about everyone who had to sit through that? Can we claim abuse when we have to watch it too?
