Transforming the Former Tanjong Pagar Railway Station

The first ideas competition for the former station, held in 2015, awarded plans such as a heritage gallery and pop-up retail spaces. Now, the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is seeking submissions for the second competition, running from April 22 till June 14. Participants are encouraged to suggest uses and activities for the 6.4-hectare site, including the main station building and surrounding features. The goal is to create attractive, inclusive, and inviting public spaces that enhance connectivity with the green spaces surrounding it.
