MIRI: A person was injured in an explosion at the Miri Forestry Department's office along the Miri-Lutong highway on Monday (Dec 7) morning.

The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department said an investigation has started to determine the cause of the blast that damaged the ground floor of the office, adding that the person has since been warded at the Miri Hospital.
