In a heartbeat, we’re already approaching the end of another month. This weekend will be the last of August 2026, and there’s much to look forward to before September comes knocking!

adidas Orchard Road Ignition

What happens when an F1 driver, a K-pop group, and a couple of Singaporean artistes walk into an adidas store? The result: adidas Orchard Road Ignition! This two-day event on 29 & 30 August 2026 invites fans of adidas, the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team, and BABYMONSTER to an Orchard Road takeover unlike any other. I mean — when was the last time part of Orchard Road was closed for something like this?

On Saturday, 29 August, fans who previously participated in a contest and won tickets will gain access to a Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team Garage Display. As this requires exclusive tickets that most of us don’t have, all eyes are on Sunday.

30 August is when the event hits a fever pitch with a Live Race Car Demo by Mercedes third driver Fred Vesti and Hot Laps with BABYMONSTER. These events will take place from 3pm onwards along Orchard Road, and are free and open to the public.

Watching a Mercedes driver speeding through Orchard Road with an actual F1 car and catching BABYMONSTER on a joy ride in our famous shopping district were certainly not on our 2026 bingo card, but we ain’t complaining.

From 6.35pm to 9pm, you can also catch performances by local acts such as Benjamin Kheng and Iman Fandi at a Fan Festival happening at Design Orchard. Lucky fans who won tickets previously can also catch an exclusive performance by BABYMONSTER here.

GREEN-HOUSE Festival 2026

The GREEN-HOUSE Festival returns for its fifth edition on 29 & 30 August 2026, bringing the good in all sorts of ways!

Keep an eye out for events such as Nature Society, where you can explore Singapore’s biodiversity, and Parrot Society Singapore, where you can learn more about parrot welfare. Looking to adopt a dog? Paws of Johor Bahru will also be putting dogs up for adoption.

As the name of the festival suggests, you can also recycle your empties at the GREEN-HOUSE Festival and reap rewards. Simply head over to the Beauty Empties Recycling Station and get rewarded with exclusive perks and deals with these participating brands: L’occitane, Sukhatara, Mittsu Doru, Pass it On, Terra Nest, Another Land, and Gentle Therapy.

Two years after opening its doors to visitors, New Bahru is finally complete, now housing more than 60 brands within its blocks. To celebrate its completion, the creative cluster will be hosting a weekend block party-style Open House on 29 & 30 August 2026.

Artsobi is a playful and interactive art market organised by artists in Singapore. Since the theme for Artsobi 3.0 is “Tiny Forest”, expect creative art prints, adorable stickers, and many more works from participating booths such as Paper Tiger Studios, Skinny Art Space, The Everyday Club, Drool Stamps, Little Space Studio, 82 Palette, Hands On Film.

It will be a two-day event, happening from 29 to 30 August 2026 at the Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre, Halls 404 to 405. The venue is wheelchair-accessible and is free to enter. No tickets are required!
