My husband and I have been married for more than 10 years now and he has always treated me well.

He is a romantic guy and would buy me flowers and take me out on nice dates all the time. I’m not a very optimistic person when it comes to relationships because I had infidelity issues with all my exes but because of him, I started to believe that if you are together with the right person, every day is Valentine’s Day.

So you can imagine my reaction when my best friend told me that she saw my husband holding hands with this woman outside ION Orchard. I was furious at her for trying to sow discord between me and my husband especially when she didn’t have any proof to back up her claim.

She was the one I turned to through all my painful breakups so she should know better than anyone to tell me all these things without proof. Now that she has planted the seed in my head, I can’t help but feel suspicious of my husband and his motives for being nice to me.

As much as I want to ask him about it, I don’t want him to think that I don’t trust him and would rather take my friend’s word over his. In our ten plus years of marriage, he’s brought me nothing but happiness so I really don’t want our marriage to fall apart just like that.

I know my best friend is concerned about me but right now, I really just hate her so much for casting doubt on my happy marriage and putting me through this trauma all over again.
