Facebook Agrees to Buy Tech Startup Behind Mind-Reading Wristband

Comfortingly, Facebook Inc. has agreed to acquire tech startup CTRL-Labs, a company known for a wristband that translates neuron activity into computer screen motions.
"CTRL-Labs's technology is an innovative input that Facebook hopes will be used to significantly improve the upcoming Facebook AR/VR experiences a few years down the road to fundamentally improve the user experience," a Facebook rep told Bloomberg of the deal, which has been reported to be worth as much as $1 billion, though Facebook itself has not commented on the price.
