Supermarket chain NTUC FairPrice has apologised for causing “concern and discomfort” to customers after a viral social media post showed supermarket staff handling chicken that was labelled as halal in the pork section.
In an Instagram post by Sgfollowsall on Wednesday (March 25), a user said that the incident at the Anchorvale Village store in Sengkang was “deeply troubling” when there are “many Muslim customers who rely on proper halal handling practices”.

So, because they big establishment like NTUC, after a mere apology so what? Do it mean all Muslims are entitled to their mistakes to consume non-halal? The MUIS IS "downplaying & siding with the NTUC, isit it? A small halal establishments will be suspended & fine if this happens but not NTUC? This non-Muslim NTUC staffs though claimed" aware & trained" couldn't be bother if the meat is processed in a non halal station, WOULD THEY?
