Ever since Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen became adults, they’ve rocked the multi-layered waves; but now, Ashley is going to the dark side.

Okay, okay, that may be a bit dramatic, but we just had to. But, it’s true, Ashley has undergone a major hair transformation by doing a dark, warm red ‘do.

In photos obtained by Peopleon Sept. 19, Ashley was spottedleaving a New York Fashion Week afterparty. It’s unclear if Mary-Kate was with her, but what we do see is that Ashley is embracing a whole new look, and we’re obsessed! (And a week prior, we did see that Mary-Kate also went into a darker bronde look, per InStyle.)

While their adult years’ hairstyles have remained the same, they experimented a lot in their younger years. In 2004, Mary-Kate donned a super-dark auburn look that Ashley is now rocking, according to People.

In 2006, the now-mom-of-onedyed her hair a chocolate brown, and now, nearly 20 years later, she’s back to a darker hue; but it’s rather shocking for longtime fans. Back in 2013, in a previous interview with Allure, Ashley revealed that she seriously regretted her time as a brunette, saying, “It just really wasn’t great!”

The last time she changed up her hair was in 2015 when she and Mary-Kate embraced their natural hair colors!

But now, instead of going for a cool-toned brown, she’s embracing a warm-toned red, and it works so dang well! Goodbye blonde, and bronde, hello autumn waves!
