Fed govt allocates RM2.4 million to upgrade water supply pipelines in rural Sabah areas

KOTA KINABALU: The federal government allocated RM2.4 million last month to improve water supply pipelines in rural areas in Sabah, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Zahid, who is also the Rural and Regional Development Minister, said the federal government has also given its commitment to increase the allocation if needed, however, he hopes better coordination can be formed with all parties involved to solve the water supply problems in the state.
