SINGAPORE - As a cleaner for more than nine years, Ms Li Xiu Mei, 56, has seen it all.
She has mopped up trails of faecal matter that has hardened on the toilet floor, unclogged toilets choked with waste left without flushing overnight and scraped off lumps of toilet paper stuck on the walls by naughty youngsters.

no matter how many campaigns the public toilets will still be the same condition . you get inconsiderate users who never think of hygiene . after all the cleaners will do the dirty job of cleaning.in my opinion, make user to pay more for using it. say $2 per entry. install auto doors and sensors in every toilet cubicle to detect messy left over. if dirtied and never clean up by user door remain lock. do away with urinal stand for male users.
