A company that Captain Sir Tom Moore’s son-in-law was director of is at the centre of a £22.4million legal battle.

Colin Ingram-Moore, 67, was one of five directors at Stonepit Ltd, which is the focus of a High Court claim against construction giant Taylor Wimpey. Documents reveal Stonepit Ltd attracted investment from 56 backers to fill in an open cast mine so it could be used for a multimillion-pound housing development.
