Ten years ago, artist Fadilah Karim ventured into the Malaysian art scene and never looked back.

Hailing from Batu Pahat, Johor, this 33-year-old mother of one has more than 50 exhibitions in her portfolio.

She is regarded, arguably, as one of the most prolific young artists in Malaysia, known for her body of works which are autobiographical by narrative and muted realism in style.
