KUCHING (March 26): Veteran Dayak politician Nicholas Bawin Anggat, has passed away at the age of 66.

He breathed his last at Normah Medical Specialist Centre in Petra Jaya here at 9.20pm after battling an illness for some time.

He is survived by his wife, Rajini Ramasamy, and four daughters.

A family friend told The Borneo Post that Bawin was surrounded by his wife and three of his daughters at the time of his passing, while his fourth daughter was still at work when he took his last breath.
