Billionaire and Sea Limited founder Forrest Li has confirmed his candidacy for the presidency of the Football Association of Singapore (FAS).

The announcement was made on Mar. 17, with elections set for Apr. 28.

Li’s spokesperson said he plans to reveal details about his team and vision for Singapore football in the weeks ahead.

Li, 47, a naturalized Singaporean citizen, has been actively involved in local football. He served as an FAS council member from 2017 to 2021 and oversaw the privatization of the Lion City Sailors in 2020.
