The casting has been announced for Uncle Fester in Tim Burton’s upcoming Addams Family spin-off series Wednesday, with Fred Armisen set to play the role.

Ever since The Addams Family first appeared in The New Yorker magazine in the 1930s, there have been several depictions of the eerie family, one of the most beloved of which saw Anjelica Huston star as Morticia Addams and Christina Riccias her daughter Wednesday in the 1990s films.
