What comes to your mind when hearing about “Singapore Art Week”—the headline-worthy exhibitions and installations, large-scale art fairs, or a surge of  tourists? Although Singapore Art Museum and Singapore National Gallery are staple landmarks to visit, here are our top five events you have to catch during the vibrant art week. 

1. Wan Hai Hotel: Singapore Strait

As part of a new curatorial collaboration with Rockbund Art Museum (RAM), ART SG will present Wan Hai Hotel: Singapore Strait. Featuring artists across Southeast Asia, Australasia, and Asia Pacific, their works, inspired by mutual interaction and identity, will transform the lobby of The Warehouse Hotel.

An immersive exhibition space that consists of various art mediums such as film, performance, exhibition and panel talks—this display is one of 2026’s largest art events to witness. 

The Wan Hai Hotel: Singapore Strait offers free admission to all.

2. The Print Show & Symposium Singapore

Presented by one of Singapore’s largest visual art cultural institutions, STPI announces the inaugural edition of The Print Show & Symposium Singapore.

Bringing together leading print publishers and galleries from around the world, The Print Show Singapore will showcase the works of distinguished artists known for their printmaking practice. The STPI Print Symposium on the other hand, will consist of ticketed panel discussions surrounding the evolving use of prints.  

Highlighted artists from this show includes David Hockney, Yayoi Kusama, Takashi Murakami, Kim Lim, and Do Ho Suh. 

The Print Show Singapore offers free admission to all, while tickets are required for The STPI Print Symposium.

3. Chapalang 

 A commissioned presentation by National Arts Council (NAC), the exhibition Chapalang intertwines art and technology to explore the diverse practices of Southeast Asian art.

Although seemingly chaotic and haphazard, this exhibition embodies the attitude of making do; or learning to live with our world’s constantly evolving pace. To be held at Artspace @ Helutrans, you can look forward to unconventional and almost puzzling installations at this show.

4. Ground Loops

A unique collaboration between art and technology research lab, Feelers, and New York-based alternative school exploring art and code, School for Poetic Computations—these two institutions bring an eclectic mix of Singapore and New York-based new media artists.

In addition to the already innovative exhibition, experimental workshops will take place on 24, 25, and 31 January 2026 for you to explore hacking, create interactive browser-based sound works, and get an introduction to coding. 

Ground Loops offers free admission to all, while their workshops require ticketing and registration.

5. OH! Moonstone

The 12th edition of OH!’s flagship art walks, OH! Open House explores Moonstone Lane at a decommissioned factory. Join their walking tour featuring four site-specific artworks located in private and public spaces across the Moonstone Lane Estate—a neighbourhood that has transformed over the years from plantations, kampungs, warehouses, bottling plants, and shrines to the residential precinct it is today.

From turning terraced houses into museums and artworks to converting HDB staircases into galleries, OH!  Open House’s art walks are one of the most engaging and intriguing ways to explore the historic areas of our little red dot. 

OH! Moonstone requires a donation of S$40 to participate in the tour, with the final tour starting at 7.30pm.
