In a shocking revelation following the conviction of former Mediacorp actor Ian Fang, who received a 40-month prison sentence for engaging in sexual activities with a then-15-year-old girl, the victim has bravely come forward to share her experience. Through a series of text messages to 8world News, she expressed her initial belief that Fang was her “first love,” only to later realize that he had exploited her for his own desires.
Fang, who was 34 at the time of their meeting in May 2024, was an acting teacher at a child modeling school, where he interacted with students as young as four. The victim, who referred to him as “Teacher Fang,” described how she was drawn to his perceived maturity and felt a sense of safety around him. Their relationship, though never officially acknowledged, was marked by romantic gestures such as hand-in-hand walks and supermarket trips, which she initially interpreted as signs of affection.
