There are good bosses and then there's G-Dragon.

Recently, the 37-year-old K-pop superstar, who is known to be a generous employer, made headlines again after a source in the entertainment industry revealed how he treats his staff members.

It was said that the BigBang member not only doubled one employee’s salary, but also gave luxury apartments “worth hundreds of millions of won” to members of his close staff.

The luxury apartments, which are said to be all located in prime areas of Seoul, were reportedly not regular rewards, but part of a housing support initiative for the star’s crew, better known as “Team GD".

The team includes managers and staff who have been with him since day one.

Many netizens soon expressed admiration, saying that housing support in Seoul is an extremely valuable benefit due to the city’s high real estate prices.

Netizens also remarked that his actions show why G-Dragon is always on a “different level” in the K-pop world.

"Is GD still hiring? I’m willing to work like a horse just for the chance to work for him," asked one fan.

As we all know, this is not the first time the star has been lauded for his generosity.

Earlier this year, an employee revealed that G-Dragon had given him an Übermensch edition necklace, which was a part of a collaboration with Jacob & Co. x PEACEMINUSONE, and a 24K gold bar as a congratulatory gift for the birth of his child. 

At the end of 2025, the star also gave another 24K gold bar to two employees who publicly announced their relationship after his tour.
