I have a friend who is in a bit of a sticky situation and I’m not sure how to advise her.

She’s been dating this guy for a few years now and has been paying for the modifications to his car. The problem is, he’s been using the car to woo other girls and does not want to use the car to fetch her.

A little bit of background information about them

My friend is a honest lady who has been working hard for the past few years. She’s been saving up her money and has been generous with her boyfriend, paying for the modifications to his car whenever he asked her for money.

Her boyfriend has been jobless for the longest time but did not want to sell away the car, claiming that he needs this car to do Tada and Grab.

Discovered he has been using his car to ‘woo’ girls

However, she recently found out that he’s been using the car to pick up other girls and take them out on dates.

When she confronted him about it, he admitted to it and apologized, but he didn’t seem to understand the gravity of the situation.

He told her that he was just trying to make new friends and that he didn’t mean any harm. But my friend is heartbroken and feels betrayed.

She’s not sure of what she should do. She’s invested a lot of time and money into the relationship, but she’s not sure if it’s worth it anymore.

She’s torn between wanting to give him another chance and wanting to protect herself.

I told her that she should do what’s best for her and that she shouldn’t let anyone take advantage of her. She deserves to be with someone who appreciates her and treats her with respect.

I also advised her to set boundaries and to communicate her feelings with her boyfriend.

But I’m not sure if that’s enough. She really loves him and is thinking of giving him another chance but I’m worried that he might continue to use the car to woo other girls and that my friend might get hurt again.

I don’t want her to waste any more time and money on someone who doesn’t deserve it.
